Taqueria Puebla is more than a taqueria. It is tradition, it is family, it is friends. It is a kitchen focused on making people happy by offering hospitality. It is a source of inspiration, it is soul. We want to share it with you through each dish.

La Compañia is a town near Puebla City, Mexico, where three sisters — Blanca, Rosa, and Soco — were raised. It’s where their father instilled in them a love for cooking and sharing food, a fondness that he learned from his father-in-law.

The recipes they grew up with have been handed down from generations. Featured on our menu today, those recipes reflect the fresh and bright flavors of Puebla.

Keeping the tradition alive of learning from family, Executive Chef Adrian Ramirez (owner of Red Cork Bistro & Catering next door) is Soco’s husband of more than 15 years and Blanca & Rosa’s, brother-in-law.

Chef Adrian had the dream of opening a Mexican restaurant where the menu showcased the flavors of Puebla. He proposed the idea to all three sisters, who loved it! Adrian taught them the business side of running a restaurant; they shared their family recipes to create a delicious menu true to their hometown.

We bring you real house-made Mexican recipes. From the Al Pastor, a recipe passed down from our grandfather, to the authentic Mole Poblano, a recipe from our mother. For us, cooking is a way of giving something away, an act of affection for those who visit us. We hope you feel the love put into our food from here to Puebla!
